Jess is a performance improvement–focused consultant with 15 years of experience enhancing hospital efficiency through workforce management initiatives. At a time when health organizations are evaluating labor costs more closely, Jess offers meaningful solutions to help align hospital labor productivity with industry benchmarks. His approach focuses on building strong, collaborative relationships with client leadership and calling on his project management skills to help implement change seamlessly and effectively.
Before joining ECG, Jess worked in the Workforce Management service line at Prism Healthcare Partners (now part of Berkeley Research Group), where he oversaw various performance transformation projects. Most recently, Jess served as the project manager for an engagement that resulted in $127 million in savings via the execution of 250 individual improvement initiatives related to workforce management, supply chain, patient throughput, physician operations, and health plan management. Prior to Prism, Jess worked at Huron Consulting Group, where helped a large medical center in Maine realize a $2 million reduction in salary expenses by restructuring its shift differential policy to align with current industry standards.
